A special vintage will be launched in 2026 to mark the history of the vineyard
Dunham, Autumn 2025 – Le Vignoble de l'Orpailleur , a pioneer of Quebec viticulture, is celebrating its 40th harvest this year. This autumn, the team led by winemaker and co-owner Charles-Henri de Coussergues, who has been with the vineyard since its inception, has produced a harvest that ranks among the four finest vintages in its history.

“Viticulture is a crop that often contrasts with the rest of agriculture. In dry years like this year, the harvest tends to be beautiful and abundant, unlike other crops that have suffered from water stress.”
"The quality and ripeness of the grapes are also remarkable," Charles-Henri points out. "This is a vintage that will go down in the annals of L'Orpailleur."
To mark this historic milestone, the Vignoble de l'Orpailleur will release a special vintage which will be marketed in 2026. This wine will symbolize both the excellence of the 2025 vintage and the 40th harvest of the vineyard.

Founded in 1982 in Dunham, Vignoble de l'Orpailleur has shaped Quebec's wine landscape by focusing on research, innovation, and respect for the terroir. Since then, the vineyard has become a must-visit destination, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors each year.
