Job Description:
As a Wine Tourism and Boutique Manager , you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all activities related to wine tourism and the vineyard boutique. You will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our visitors and customers, while ensuring efficient management of the boutique and wine tourism activities.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Wine tourism management:
  • Design, plan and coordinate guided tours, wine tastings and group activities.
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to visitors, providing detailed information on the vineyard, its products and its wine-growing practices.
  • Depending on the schedule and the seasons, work hours with the team in the store for sales as well as hosting tastings and activities. Be a reference and a model for the team under your responsibility.
  • Develop and implement visit programs tailored to different customer segments (individuals, groups, businesses).
  • Play an important role in consolidating the brand image of the Vineyard and its promotion.
  • Coordinate groups with the seasonal restaurant Le Tire-Bouchon.
  • Participate in external promotional activities (for example: the Magog grape harvest festival and the Pointe à Callières public market)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote wine tourism activities through various channels (website, social networks, brochures, etc.).

2. Store management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, stocking, and product presentation.
  • Train and coach store staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage cash receipts, financial transactions and sales reports.

3. Customer relations:

  • Ensure effective communication with customers to collect their opinions, manage complaints and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Develop lasting relationships with customers and local partners to encourage loyalty and referrals.

4. Administrative management and reporting:

  • Maintain accurate reports on the performance of the store and wine tourism activities.
  • Manage budgets allocated to wine tourism activities and the store.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations.

Required skills:

  • Degree in management, tourism, oenology or related field.
  • Excellent command of French, good command of spoken and written English
  • Significant experience in tourism and/or boutique management. Experience in the wine sector an asset.
  • Excellent internal and external communication and customer service skills.
  • Be autonomous, versatile and multitask,
  • Knowledge of wines, viticultural practices and market trends an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while being a key member of a team.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and management software.

  • Sense of organization and rigor in task management.
