Cuvée Natashquan
Golden and shiny robe, sustained. On the nose, aromas of peat, undergrowth and white pear are revealed. The mouth is buttery, balanced, we perceive notes of vanilla, white tobacco and white flowers. The tannins are melted, fat, round, in a beautiful structure.
A portion of the sales of this cuvée is donated to the non-profit organization Natashquan for the safeguarding of the Source , which aims to ensure the sustainability of Gilles Vigneault's work.
- Grapes: Vidal, Chardonnay
- 13.5% alc./vol. / 750ml
- First vintage: 2007
Production method
Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, 30% of which are new. For the first three months, the cellar master stirs the wine in order to put the fine lees back into suspension and thus give it volume and fat. Full aging will last 12 months.
