The Cuvée Signature Chardonnay 2020 won top honors at the Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada 2022 competition in Montreal this week! This vintage ranked 10th in the Top 50 of the best scores in the competition with a score of 94.3 points, all categories and all countries combined among 1,703 wines!
This cuvée also won the prestigious “Prix du Jury / Best of show 2022” because it obtained the highest score among all the Canadian wines presented. In addition, this Cuvée Signature obtained a Grand Gold medal in the “classic white wine” category.
Chardonnay stands out for a third time this year
Last June, this vintage also ranked best chardonnay in oak barrels in competition with wines from world wine regions in the state of New York in the United States. Indeed, our cuvée won the only Double Gold medal in the “Chardonnay oaked” category at the Finger Lakes International Wine & Spirits Competition 2022.
This cuvée also won a Silver medal last June at the biggest awards in the field of Canadian wine, the National Wine Awards of Canada 2022 competition in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

In this Nordic viticulture, there have been many prejudices. But with passion, perseverance and discipline we have been able to demonstrate that not only is viticulture here to stay, but we are now achieving high quality standards. Quebec is gradually but certainly taking its place on the map of world viticulture.
